DescriptionSteal has existing as a “business” for thousands of years. Knowing that the “gentlemen in the air ” are too hard to defend, people turn pale at the mention of them. While in fact, the experience is what really matters in stealing which produces a way to defend the uninvited guests. The official website of Beijing Municipal Public Security has pushed out a column called “security report in one week ” which records all kinds of cases that happened in Beijing during the week. If we stipulate that the neighborhood is called the roll once when a case happened there , the neighborhood would be called the roll for N times when a number of N cases happened . Our work, Security Map of Beijing records and analyzes the “security report in one week ” during 2014 to 2015 and shows a lot of interesting things. For example, most swindles happened in Haidian District, most case of prying car happened in Chaoyang district, people ‘s pockets are at the highest risk when they are be on or off their duty and most cases of burglaries happened in middle night and the morning. People could look up the security condition of their own neighborhood. The work is shown to the user by H5 which is a useful interactive application. We made a information graph in the end of the H5, so the balance of exploratory and explanation was reached which help the users to understand the work in a better way. It finally provides some useful alerts for the life of the citizens. (Please have a click on the additional links to see the information graph.)
