DescriptionLive video is increasingly popular with professionals and consumers alike. Whereas Periscope and Meerkat have embraced the audience, broadcasting remains largely one way communication. At the same time, news breaks on its own schedule. Statistics show users attempt to watch live news video when it is over or well in progress. Our concept is to: - Open live video to audience participation; and live Twitter commentary from trusted professional sources - Provide effortless feedback mechanisms to share the 'pulse' of the audience - Use multiple signals to immediately identify highlights for efficient replay - Aggregate and share data from news organisations streaming the same feed
