A visual history of political majorities in the US
Organisation: Spiegel Online (Germany)
Publication Date: 04/06/2017
DescriptionWinning the presidential election in the US is one thing. But how much power does a president have without control over Senate and House? To give context information how strong Donald Trump actually is after the election, we've build this visual overview. It shows which party is in control over each of the three branches of government in the US. Supermajorities are highlighted and eight small popups explain the relevance of the topic to the reader with the help of historic examples.
