Which Member of Parliament held the most speeches? Who inquiried the government the most? Our interactive graphic shows profiles of all 652 persons who were MPs during the last legislation period (2009 - 2013). With its five color-coded categories, the graphic gives readers a good overview of the representatives' acitvities in the plenum as well as the possiblity to dig deeper into details.

Technologies used for this project:

We evaluated all available session protocols of 251 days on which the parliament assembled. The crucial part of data research was scraping the official website of the German Parliament. Small calendars show the monthly activities per person, with colored boxes indicating the main focus. By activating one of the cells, one gets a list of all activities, including links to corresponding protocols.
