We scraped all the Nobel laureates' personal information from Nobel official website, and we selected those whose born country were different from its country in "Affiliation at the time of the award". And then we mapped born countries as source and affiliation country as destination and drew lines for those who won Nobel Prizes as immigrants. Among all the Nobel laureates from 1901 to 2015, 251 were immigrants who left their home countries and were awarded for accomplishments they achieved in another country. USA, UK, Germany attracted most talents.

What makes this project innovative? What was its impact?

---Innovations--- The visualization concept: the immigration map shows clearly that before WWⅡ, UK, France and Germany attracted most talents; but after WWⅡ, most talents went to USA. With the help of Processing, it's efficient to map hundreds of lines at very short time. --- Impact --- The video and article were viewed more than 600, 000 times online.
